Sorry for the lack of page! A stupid winter cold got me. :(

Akipie – thanks, I’m particularly fond of it, too... :)

Holy ****!

I said I liked Viktoria a bit in the past, but scratch that completely now, even if it is a regular nightmare (Which looks awfully unlikely by now)...

Theory #3 is crushed and buried. I'll never speak of it again.

It's page #4 of that chapter, which means it's most likely the last one... I'm kinda relieved, to be honest.

While I mostly like either funny or heart-warming things, I don't mind when things are occasionally darker. It's sometime in those situations that someone's strength really shines through.

Like Roxenne here: I really appreciate and admire her strength in this horrible situation, her willpower to ignore the poison that Viktoria is feeding her.

But on the other hand, the implication of the 2nd text bubble combined with the background of the last panel is absolutely terrifying. The whole chapter made me uncomfortable, and it just got worse with each page.

With that said... I have to say that it was masterfully done. It's similar to the 'detentions' from the book version of Stitches: It doesn't explicitely state anything, but it says enough to make the reader go "Oh god, no!!". Making readers react is always a good thing, as long as it's not only done for that sake (Killing off characters just to get a rise out of people, and so forth).

So to conclude: This is an extremely well done and emotional chapter, with a great show of willpower from Roxenne and vilainy from Viktoria... And at the same time I'm glad it's over. :) Just like the whole suspention thing in Stitches: I hated the whole thing and even the concept of the suspentions, yet I'm glad that they were part of the Stitches book for the overall story, if that makes any sense.

I hope you're over feeling ill by now, Yeaka, and that you and all your readers have had a very merry Christmas or other winter holiday! Here's hoping for a happy new year too!
